A stunning thriller full of suspense and surprises. The opening scene sets up a great sense of intrigue as we discover along with the detectives a very strange crime scene. Soon, another crime scene is discovered, this one even more bizarre and puzzling. You simply can’t help wondering what has happened and will want to know where the story is going. There are two people missing. We learn a little later on where the missing people are, while the detectives are still in the unknown. It’s hard to describe this thriller further without risking giving anything away.
It’s high octane, fast paced, well plotted and definitely a worthy challenge for those eager to figure a novel out before the debouement. A treat for crime fiction fans.
A suspense romance set under the Zimbabwe sun. With so many secrets threatening to destroy her happiness, Amanda has to find out the truth behind her family’s dark history before it is too late.
Can she trust those around her or are they part of the deception?
Deception had me gripped from page 1. With the constant twists & turns throughout it kept me guessing & wanting more. The story is first set in London then on to Zimbabwe where you get a real feel of a distant & exotic place through the amazing descriptive writing. A brilliant read & I can’t wait for the 2nd installment.
on July 26, 2015This is much more than a suspense thriller. There is romance, there is deceit and double-crossing, there is mystery, there is hot sexual tension, and there is fear.

I loved this book and found it difficult to put down. It had so many twists that kept you guessing to the end. The authors description of Zimbabwe is so good in parts that I felt I was there standing under the blazing sun!!

A story began uniquely and once I had consumed her work she left me wanting more; Beautifully written. The writings of Eloise appear to be calling me and answering the call may be sooner than later. A good read.
A novella of young love. Sometimes, we don’t get the happy ending. Sometimes, love doesn’t conquer all. Sometimes, we have to fight to escapes the evil that holds us back from our true love and face the consequences of fighting such evil.
